Introduction

Welcome to the Modulaser documentation. Modulaser is laser show software built for creatives, from hobbyists with a LaserCube to professional laser operators running multi-DAC setups.

What is Modulaser?

Modulaser is a node-based laser show application for macOS. It gives you a visual patching environment where you connect generators, modulators, and effects to craft laser visuals in real time.

Key features

  • Node-based patching: Build complex visuals by connecting nodes in a flexible signal flow.
  • Live performance: MIDI mapping, audio reactivity, and a mixer for real-time control.
  • Multi-DAC support: Drive multiple laser projectors simultaneously with different content.
  • Image mode: Import ILDA files and SVGs, then modulate them like any other source.
  • Syphon & NDI output: Send your visuals to VJ software or capture tools.

Getting started
